A Guide (Div. 10)

This is a general plan of how I will be teaching online via this website and blog. I encourage families to learn and work together to complete these fun learning activities and challenges.

Monday:

• Book of the Week will be revealed (with a read aloud video)

• Read Aloud and discussion questions to follow

• Daily Edit will be provided with answer key

Tuesday:

• Daily Edit

• Re-read story

• Word Work / Reading Comprehension

Wednesday:

• Daily Edit

• Writing Extension (e.g. summarizing, story elements)

Thursday:

• Daily Edit

• Creative Writing

Friday:

• Continue with Creative Writing

Learning Supplies

1. Find a "Learning Spot" at home - this will be the designated work area.

2. Gather supplies: pencil, paper, pencil crayons / crayons, scissors, glue stick.

3. A positive, can-do attitude.

Tip:

A good "learning spot" is where there is little distraction and students can still ask for help when needed.
