Congratulations! You've made it this far! Today is the last day where we will be using the book, "How To Catch The Easter Bunny," and finishing up our Creative Writing activity.

Creative Writing
Today, your child should aim to complete their Creative Writing activity. However, if they would like to continue working on it to make it even better during the weekend, do praise and encourage them! Otherwise, it should take around 10 - 15 minutes to complete Part 2 of their Creative Writing activity today.
Option 1
Build an Easter Bunny trap and write about it.
Part 1: Build an Easter Bunny trap and take a picture of it.
Part 2: Write or talk about your trap. What are some of its special features?
Tips:
Review the read aloud video to get some ideas on some Easter Bunny traps.
Use materials around the house to build the trap (e.g. cardboard boxes, toys, LEGO, empty toilet paper rolls, tissue boxes, etc.)
Think about how to lure the Easter Bunny to your trap. What treats will you use?
Adaptation: Draw a picture of your trap instead of building it.
Adaptation: Create the trap with your child.
Extension: Make another Easter Bunny trap.
Option 2
If you were the Easter Bunny, where would you hide the eggs?
Part 1: Think of a few places that makes a good hiding spot for Easter eggs and write them down.
Part 2: Draw a map that will help other people find your Easter eggs.
Adaptation: Use paper to make your own Easter eggs and hide it around the house and take a picture of each spot.
Extension: Give hints on your map.
Message from Ms. Zhu
I hope you had a fun time this week with the Easter Bunny story. We will be reading a new story next week that focuses on Earth Day. Don't forget to upload a picture of your child's work or of your child working on their e-Portfolios on Portal. Thank you and have a wonderful weekend!
