Today is the last day where we will be using the book, "This is Not My Hat," and finishing up our Creative Writing activity.

Creative Writing

Today, your child should aim to complete their Creative Writing activity. However, if they would like to continue working on it to make it even better during the weekend, do praise and encourage them! Otherwise, it should take around 10 - 15 minutes to complete Part 2 of their Creative Writing activity today.

Option 1

Make a puppet show.

• Part 1: Draw all the characters and decide what each of them will say.

• Part 2: Continue to work on the script, then record your puppet show.

Tips:

• Have someone help you edit your script, then do a practice run through.

• Present your puppet show to your family.

Option 2

Draw and write an alternative ending to the story.

• Part 1: Brainstorm different endings to the story and write them down. Choose the best one and start writing.

• Part 2: Finish your writing and edit it. Add pictures.

• Have someone help you edit your story.

• Turn your story into a comic strip or a book.
