Tell me about the picture. What do you see? What is going on?
Why is there a glowing light over the flower? Where is it coming from?
Why are there children in the woods?
Do you think this is a good ogre or a bad ogre? What makes you think that?
What do you think the ogre will do to the children if he finds them?

Adaptations

Provide sentence starters for your child. e.g. "I see...," "I think... because..."
Have your child draw what they think happened before or will happen next.

Extensions

Draw pictures of flowers that you think the ogre would want to take care of. What are the names of the flowers?
