Questions
Tell me about the picture. What do you see? What is going on?
What are the trolls doing?
Why are they sitting underneath the bridge?
What do you think the trolls are saying to each other?
What do you think the goats are saying to each other? Are they going to cross the bridge?
Adaptations
Provide sentence starters for your child. e.g. "I see...," "I think... because..."
Have your child draw what they think happened before or will happen next.
Extensions
Pretend play what the trolls are saying to each other. Add in the goats as extra characters.
