Directions

Look at the picture with your child.
Ask your child questions about the picture.
Record (e.g. paper, typed, voice) what your child says and send it to Ms. Zhu.

Tell me about the picture. What do you see? What is going on?
How did the rabbit find the tunnel?
Do you think the rabbit will go through the tunnel? Why or why not?
Where does the tunnel lead to? What do you think the rabbit will find?
Would you go through the tunnel?

Adaptations

Provide sentence starters for your child. e.g. "I see...," "I think... because..."
Have your child draw what they think happened before or will happen next.

Extensions

Draw a picture of what you think would be on the other side of the tunnel. Talk about it.
