Questions
Tell me about the picture. What do you see? What is going on?
What are the animals doing? Why?
What do you think it would feel like to be there? What could you see, hear, feel, and smell?
What food did they pack in the basket?
What is the mole reading?
Adaptations
Provide sentence starters for your child. e.g. "I see...," "I think... because..."
Have your child draw what they think happened before or will happen next.
Extensions
Create a place to relax in your house. What makes it relaxing? What can you do to relax?
