Directions

1. Look at the picture with your child.

2. Ask your child questions about the picture.

3. Record (e.g. paper, typed, voice) what your child says and send it to Ms. Zhu.

1. Tell me about the picture. What do you see? What is going on?

2. What are the different animals doing?

3. Which animal is the most creative? How do you know?

4. Which animal is the happiest? How do you know?

5. Which animal is the friendliest? How do you know?

Adaptations

• Provide sentence starters for your child. e.g. "I see...," "I think... because..."

• Have your child draw what they think happened before or will happen next.

Extensions

• Draw a picture of your favourite animal doing something.
