Questions

Tell me about the picture. What do you see? What is going on?
Why are the animals sitting around the soccer ball?
Why is the ball so large?
How did the ball get there in the first place?
What are they going to do next?

Adaptations

Provide sentence starters for your child. e.g. "I see...," "I think... because..."
Have your child draw what they think happened before or will happen next.

Extensions

Draw a picture of you playing a sport. Talk about it.
