Questions
- Tell me about the picture. What do you see? What is going on? 
- Why are the animals sitting around the soccer ball? 
- Why is the ball so large? 
- How did the ball get there in the first place? 
- What are they going to do next? 
Adaptations
- Provide sentence starters for your child. e.g. "I see...," "I think... because..." 
- Have your child draw what they think happened before or will happen next. 
Extensions
- Draw a picture of you playing a sport. Talk about it.
