Tell me about the picture. What do you see? What is going on?
Where is this?
What is inside the box? How do you know?
Why is the elephant touching the box with its trunk?
What do you think is going to happen?
Adaptations
Provide sentence starters for your child. e.g. "I see...," "I think... because..."
Have your child draw what they think happened before or will happen next.
Extensions
Design a crate for moving animals. How will you make it comfortable and safe for the animal?
